Children / Young people / Families

We’re delighted that you want to visit the Münchner Stadtmuseum with your friends or family. Free admission for under-18s means that you can drop by all the more often!

Feel free to pop in whenever you like!

If you’ve just dropped by to see the “Typically Munich!” exhibition, why not get one of our Museum quizzes for the over-5s and over-10s from the ticket desk and have a go. There’s even a surprise waiting at the end! Our audio guides provide audio content for children and adults, including imaginative, inclusive city (hi)stories. Tofind out about how sounds are made, why not pay a visit to Soundlab.1 in the Music Collection and try out one of our many exhibits that allow you to experiment with sound and acoustics.

Keen to find out even more?

Come along to one of our guided tours for children and adults, take part in one of our many workshops, or join in our vacation program...
We have joined forces with partners such as the MPZ (Center for Museum Education) and the Münchner Volkshochschule adult education center (MVHS) to help us offer as varied a program as possible.
