The Münchner Stadtmuseum will shortly undergo a full refurbishment to make ist architecture and displays fit for the future. Before we close on January 8, 2024, we would like to invite everyone to join us for two months of celebrations and a chance to say a temporary goodbye to the museum! From November 8, we will host a series of events and offer free admission to all our exhibitions. Our many attractions include a new version of our "COLLABS" music-making site, "Leihgabe" (The Loan), a participatory light installation, readings at our exhibitions, puppet theater, concerts, guided tours, workshops and a "Long Night" on the evening before the Museum finally closes.
